Position Overview:

Join Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank Production team as a Production Support Engineer (Associate) based in Pune. Drive proactive continual improvements, troubleshoot production errors, automate manual work, and enhance platform stability in a fast-paced financial environment. Work within a cross-functional agile delivery team focused on clean code, engineering culture, and business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze production platform to identify and resolve performance and resiliency issues
• Support incident, problem, and change management following ITIL best practices
• Maintain support documentation and participate in business continuity testing
• Monitor events via 24x7 monitoring tools and act per support documentation
• Drive knowledge management and continuous service improvement
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to reduce technical debt
• Mentor production support teams to build technical capabilities

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in production support environments, preferably financial services
• Knowledge of Java, Tandem Mainframe, JavaScript, TACL, COBOL
• Familiarity with Linux/Guardian OS and infrastructure
• Experience with version control (GIT/RMS), databases (Oracle, Tandem Enscribe, SQL)
• Skilled with middleware (MQ), automation, monitoring (Geneos/Reflex), scheduling tools (Control-M, Unix Shell Scripts)
• Understanding of ITIL framework and Service Management processes
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in virtual teams and matrix organizations

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• ITIL Foundation Certificate (recommended)
