Role Overview
Deutsche Bank is hiring Site Reliability Engineers to join its multifunctional Agile SRE team in Pune. This role focuses on automating operations, reducing TOIL, and ensuring high availability of applications through cloud engineering, monitoring, and CI/CD automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in Agile teams to define the target infrastructure architecture from a reliability perspective.
• Develop and maintain internal tools for deployment, monitoring, platform management, and performance stats.
• Automate and optimize application build and deployment processes.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and monitor deployments across environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to eliminate manual inefficiencies.
• Promote a culture of proactive support and continuous reliability improvement.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible
• Familiarity with CUJ, SLO, SLI, Error Budgeting
• CI/CD tools knowledge (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity)
• Good understanding of ITSM, software configuration management, and code versioning
• Hands-on experience in identifying and automating TOIL in SDLC environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with build/release tools like Maven, Ant, Gradle, Puppet, uDeploy
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture and container orchestration
• Basic programming knowledge in Java or C#
• Understanding of 3-tier web application architecture
• Experience with SonarQube, Docker Compose, SCM tools

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or related technical field
• Postgraduate education is a plus
