Job Overview

Zensar is seeking a Junior Network Cloud-Focused Engineer to support complex network technologies in a hybrid-cloud environment. This role involves troubleshooting network issues, configuring and maintaining cloud network services, and ensuring the optimization of network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day BAU Activities: Support network technologies, resolving incidents, problems, and requests as needed.
• Hybrid-Cloud Services: Assist with implementing Hybrid-cloud network services in alignment with organizational standards.
• Documentation & Troubleshooting: Maintain detailed service design, usage, troubleshooting, and support documentation.
• Cloud Networking: Provision and troubleshoot cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP network services like Direct Connect, VPC, VPN, etc.
• Automation & Optimization: Learn automation skills to handle routine administrative tasks and optimize cloud network services.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cybersecurity, operations teams, and other network peers for continuous improvements and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in networking, with 1+ years in Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Networking Skills: Understanding of networking fundamentals and practical experience in troubleshooting network systems.
• Cloud Networking: Hands-on experience with cloud networking services such as AWS Direct Connect, AWS VPN, Azure VNETs, etc.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to manage and resolve incidents with strong analytical skills.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with infrastructure cabling, firewalls, routers, SDWAN technologies, and cloud-based network security.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud Networking Tools: Knowledge of AWS Transit Gateway, AWS ELB, Azure Traffic Manager, and cloud DNS technologies.
• Automation/Scripting: Experience with tools like Python, PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible for automating cloud network tasks.
• Security Experience: Familiarity with firewall implementations, cloud network security technologies, and threat detection tools.
