Job Description
Join the Cloud DevOps team to drive data center modernization and support hybrid cloud environments. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting VMware and public cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Responsibilities
- Lead data storage infrastructure modernization projects.
- Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions across public/private environments.
- Manage server builds, support, and deployments aligned with customer policies.
- Hands-on implementation of VMware technologies (vSphere, NSX, vCenter, vSAN, etc.).
- Manage hybrid cloud data centers including physical, virtual, and hyper-converged systems.
- Oversee backup/storage systems (EMC, NetApp, Rubrik, Backup Exec).
- Perform server migrations (P2P, P2V, V2P, V2V) using native and third-party tools.
- Conduct log analysis, RCA, and develop performance improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with other IT teams for issue resolution and documentation.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 6–12 years in data center or infrastructure management.
- Strong VMware and hybrid cloud environment knowledge.
- Experience with Linux, Windows, Solaris, and Unix systems.
- Familiarity with AWS Glacier, Azure Archive, and other cloud backup tools.
- Proficiency in ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- VCAP, VCDX certifications.
- AWS SysOps Administrator certification.
- Experience in DR testing, SIEM tools, automation, and observability.
