ROLE OVERVIEW As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in Product Reliability Engineering, you will support mission-critical Visa VAS applications by ensuring high availability, scalability, automation, and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform day-to-day Site Reliability Engineering & Production Support
• Proactively analyze applications to identify reliability and performance risks
• Support incident management, SWAT calls, and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with product, platform, and engineering teams
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce manual effort
• Build and maintain technical documentation & runbooks
• Support CI/CD, deployments, upgrades, and enhancements
• Work with observability teams on Anomaly Detection, OIP & FIT
• Assist with GenAI & ML-driven reliability optimization
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends/off-hours

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years of experience in SRE / DevOps / Production Support
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux / UNIX
• Exposure to Kubernetes & Cloud DevOps concepts
• Knowledge of Shell / Python scripting
• Basic experience with Java / J2EE
• Understanding of Active-Active application setups
• Database knowledge: Oracle, DB2, or similar
• Familiarity with ServiceNow & ITSM workflows
• Experience with monitoring tools: Splunk, Humio, ClickHouse
• Understanding of GenAI / AI-ML concepts (added advantage)
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
