Job Overview

Visa is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer – DevOps with 2+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud-native environments. The role involves managing Kubernetes clusters, implementing CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automation, monitoring, and log management.

This is a hybrid position based in Bangalore, India, with office days coordinated by your Hiring Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily standups and provide status updates; review pull requests with constructive feedback.
• Manage, optimize, and maintain Kubernetes environments (on-premise and cloud).
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for reliable deployments.
• Automate tasks using Ansible, Python, and Bash to streamline DevOps workflows.
• Create Docker images and deploy microservices in shared Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop application metrics in Prometheus and create dashboards in Grafana for real-time monitoring and alerts.
• Deploy and manage microservices in cloud-native environments.
• Support incidents, troubleshoot connectivity or application issues, and raise bug tickets with necessary fixes.
• Create Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to enhance DevOps processes (optional but desirable).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Git, Ansible, Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentbit, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Kafka.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with public cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.

• Leveraging cloud services to build scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Working with data streaming and search technologies like Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with Generative AI to improve DevOps workflows.
