What You'll Do

You will be part of the System Administration Team, supporting Visa’s production environments with a focus on automation, scalability, and security. You'll work on:

Core Responsibilities

• Managing Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift deployments
• Supporting VMware tools (vSphere, vMotion, HA, DRS, etc.)
• Using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Sysdig
• Writing and maintaining scripts (Shell, Python)
• Applying automation via Chef, Ansible, Terraform
• Implementing security patches and remediation
• Following ITIL processes: Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management
• Documenting operational procedures and standard practices
• Providing on-call support as required

Who You Are

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR 2–4 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IT/IS or related field (GPA ≥ 3.0/4.0)
• 6+ months of Linux/Unix admin or container support experience
• Hands-on with Shell or Python scripting
• Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP
• Familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Knowledge of ITIL v4, automation tools (Chef, Ansible, Terraform)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
