Job Description
The Finance Technology organization at Visa supports revenue growth through advanced pricing engines and revenue platforms built on next-generation technologies. This role involves developing applications that enhance the efficiency of the Finance business function. The candidate should be eager to work with diverse technologies and tackle complex business problems.

Responsibilities

• Build and code applications using frontend and backend technologies.
• Work with the software development lifecycle, including version control, testing, and deployment.
• Write test cases using tools like JUnit and ensure applications run as expected.
• Maintain and enhance applications post-deployment.
• Design scalable, resilient, and well-monitored applications.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their adoption.
• Develop proofs of concept to validate ideas and approaches.
• Work independently in a complex environment while ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders to develop trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.

• Preferred Qualification:

  • 0.6 – 1.6 years of experience in the technology industry with coding and testing skills.
  • Strong technical competency in web applications, web services, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, unit testing, shell scripting, and RDBMS.
  • Experience with Cassandra, Solr, or NoSQL is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration, Code/Test coverage, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
  • Passion for learning and applying new technologies.
