Job Overview

As an Associate Engineer – DevOps (Fresher), you will work closely with experienced engineers to support software development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps automation. This role is ideal for candidates who want to build a strong career in DevOps engineering, cloud computing, and site reliability practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Support cloud infrastructure provisioning and management on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, or related monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA, and IT operations teams to improve automation and deployment workflows.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Assist with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in troubleshooting deployment, environment, and performance issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes, cloud security, and system reliability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.
• Exposure to version control systems such as Git or GitHub.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line and basic shell scripting.
• Interest in learning cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience in DevOps, Cloud Computing, or System Administration.
