About the Role

As an Engineer – DevOps, you will work closely with application and delivery teams to design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability and reliability of United’s critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
• Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Plan capacity for scaling traffic and workloads.
• Develop and manage configuration scripts for AWS-hosted infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning.
• Monitor systems using tools like Dynatrace, and build dashboards for visibility.
• Manage Docker & Kubernetes orchestration.
• Troubleshoot systems, networks, and infrastructure issues.
• Implement automated builds, version control, branching, and merging (Git).
• Support incident response and post-mortem analysis to prevent future outages.
• Work effectively with global teams to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, AWS, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and system reliability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
