Job Overview
The Associate Engineer – DevOps is responsible for enhancing collaboration between development and operations teams by automating and streamlining the software delivery lifecycle. This includes managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and performance optimization while ensuring system scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize infrastructure for scalable applications.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Automate deployments using Python, Bash, and configuration management tools.
• Improve monitoring, security, and reliability of United’s technology platforms.
• Collaborate with Business, Security, and Network teams to design automation architecture.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain platform performance in an Agile environment.
• Introduce new DevOps technologies and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• 1+ year of proven experience as an Automation/DevOps Engineer.
• Strong programming/scripting in Python and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI), Git, Netconf, RESTconf, Netmiko.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).
• Must be legally authorized to work in India (no sponsorship provided).
• Reliable and punctual with strong teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with OpenText’s Operation Orchestration automation platform.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
