Job Description
Qualcomm is seeking a skilled DevOps/GCP Engineer with experience in Golang, Kubernetes, OCP, EKS-A, and Linux system administration. This role involves working with PCIE cards, automation, container orchestration, and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom Go operators for managing PCIE cards.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on OCP and EKS-A platforms.
- Implement and maintain containerization solutions.
- Write and manage Kubernetes manifest files.
- Create and maintain shell scripts for automation and system management.
- Manage udev rules and understand the Linux virtual file system.
- Handle firmware image transfers for PCIE cards using nbdkit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for software integration and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud, DevOps, and Kubernetes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: 1-3 years in software development and DevOps.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, OCP, and EKS-A.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, udev infrastructure, and virtual file systems.
- Proficiency in shell scripting and system automation.
- Experience with PCIE cards and firmware image transfers using nbdkit.
- Soft Skills:
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Python, Java, or C++.
