Role Overview
Qualcomm is hiring an Associate Software Engineer to join its Engineering Group in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career engineers who are passionate about software development, embedded systems, cloud-edge technologies, and scalable applications. You will work closely with system architects, hardware engineers, and testing teams to design, develop, and validate high-performance software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, modification, and validation of embedded software and cloud-edge applications.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into efficient software solutions.
• Design and implement small to medium software features for products and systems.
• Participate in coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Support code reviews, regression testing, and issue triaging to maintain high code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to achieve project objectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software components and projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in software development concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C/C++, JavaScript, or Python.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems, operating systems, or cloud-based software is a plus.

• Requires clear verbal and written communication for routine technical information.

Expected Salary (Fresher – India):
₹6,00,000 – ₹10,00,000 per annum (based on skills, academic background, and interview performance)
