Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Qualcomm’s IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering team on projects that drive global-scale performance and reliability.
• Assist in the design, development, and automation of cloud and infrastructure services.
• Support infrastructure automation, monitoring, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Gain hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible).
• Contribute to DevOps workflows, scripting, and system optimization using Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, or Java.
• Work within teams focused on networking, virtualization, servers, and containerization.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2026 (May–September).
• Expected graduation date: November 2026 or later.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Anticipated graduation between November 2026 – June 2027.
• Experience in software development or infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), source control systems, and DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of networking, IT infrastructure, end-user services, and communication tools.
• Understanding of servers (physical/virtual), cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Practical experience in Python-based web development.
