Job Overview
As an Associate Engineer, you will work on software development for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets and next-generation platforms. This includes domains such as multimedia, wireless modem, IoT, embedded platforms, and OS-level software.
Job Areas
- Real-time embedded software and device driver development
- Mobile software for Android, Linux, or Windows
- Wireless modem and connectivity software
- Protocol stacks: CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE, 4G, 5G, Bluetooth, WiFi
- Multimedia: Audio, Video, Imaging technologies
- OS-level programming: Linux kernel, BSP, device drivers
- Application software and UI development
- Software architecture and OOP for embedded systems
Key Skills Required
- C / C++ and Object-Oriented Programming
- Strong grasp of Operating System concepts
- Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience or coursework in wireless protocols
- Linux / UNIX development experience
- Familiarity with networking protocols: TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Eligibility
- Education: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, or related fields
- Recent graduates (2024/2025 batches preferred)
