Role Overview: Engineer – Linux Test
Join Qualcomm's world-class software test team to develop and validate complex embedded and cloud-native systems. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about testing next-generation Linux platforms and cloud software at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Test and validate embedded software and cloud-based systems
Develop automated test cases using Python, Bash, or scripting frameworks
Assist in debugging and documenting software issues
Design basic test plans and execution scenarios
Collaborate across software, hardware, and automation teams to ensure product quality
Build scripts and tools to accelerate test productivity and reduce manual effort

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
1+ year of hands-on experience in programming with C, C++, Java, or Python
Knowledge of software testing, system testing, or test automation tools
Familiarity with version control, bug tracking, and continuous integration tools

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline
Experience in Linux system testing, embedded validation, or network stack automation
Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, containers, and DevOps best practices
