General Summary:

As an Automotive Software Platform Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and executing test plans for design verification, system testing, and compliance testing of automotive software. This includes working on platform and multimedia software. Your role will involve both manual and automated testing, supporting the development of test systems, and collaborating with remote teams to debug issues and implement features.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test plans for design verification, system testing, and compliance testing.
• Develop test systems (hardware and software) to support both manual and automated testing.
• Test automotive software for sanity, functional verification, system stability, performance, and automation development.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot and analyze issues, interpret domain specifications, and product requirements.
• Organize test results, compile test reports, and log defects into the defect tracking system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Exposure to Android, Linux OS, and QNX OS.
• 1-2 years of work experience in embedded software testing (Mobile or Automotive).
• Software programming experience (C/C++/Java is a plus, scripting is a must: Python, Shell).
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for working with teams across multiple time zones.
