💼 Role: Associate Linux Support Engineer

• Location: Remote (Asia Pacific) / Hyderabad
• Type: Full-time

🛠️ Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Canonical products, including Ubuntu, across cloud, desktop, and IoT
• Own and manage support cases from qualification to resolution
• Collaborate with global teams to troubleshoot and solve technical issues
• Contribute to knowledge base articles and technical communications
• Participate in design discussions and support process improvement
• Work on a weekend rotation basis as needed

🧑‍💻 Requirements

• Education: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, IT, ECE, or related fields
• Experience: Linux troubleshooting and configuration
• Knowledge or hands-on experience in 2 or more of:
  • Linux server administration
  • Programming fundamentals (Bash, Python, Ruby, C, Go, etc.)
  • Networking (firewalling, bridging, switching, etc.)
  • Cloud/Virtualization (KVM, AWS, OpenStack, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing role
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events
