Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) at Equifax combines software and systems engineering to build and run scalable, reliable, and distributed systems. You’ll collaborate across development and operations teams to ensure system uptime, performance, and proactive problem resolution. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on improving infrastructure reliability through automation and DevSecOps principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage fault-tolerant, large-scale production systems in a DevSecOps environment
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment
• Develop scripts and tools for auto-remediation, alerting, and system monitoring
• Resolve issues in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Build infrastructure as code using Terraform, scripting with cloud CLI, and cloud SDKs
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to manage incident response and reliability
• Implement monitoring systems like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Cloud-native tools

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in system administration, software engineering, or cloud infrastructure
• 1+ years of experience working in public cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
• Scripting and programming in Python, Bash, Java, Go, or JavaScript
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools
• Automation with tools like Terraform, Chef, Ansible
• Cloud certification strongly preferred (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
