Job Description
Equifax is looking for forward-thinking, innovative, and passionate Software Engineers to join their global team in Pune. As a key contributor, you’ll work on impactful products and services that drive modern financial infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in software design, coding, testing, and documentation.
- Work with modern tech stacks: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, CI/CD, and Cloud.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Apply Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps best practices (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins).
- Support scalable backend architecture using GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Develop front-end features using HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap.
- Conduct code reviews, automate testing (JUnit, Selenium), and maintain build pipelines.
Required Skills:
- Java / Spring Boot / Microservices (6+ months hands-on experience)
- Cloud technologies: GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Basic experience with SQL, Git, Maven, Gradle
- UI development with JavaScript/HTML/CSS/Angular
- Knowledge of Agile, JIRA, Confluence
- Familiarity with automation & testing tools (JUnit, Selenium)
- Strong analytical & communication skills
- Curiosity, problem-solving, and eagerness to learn
Preferred Skills (Bonus):
- Exposure to Salesforce through academics or internship
- Familiarity with FinOps, DevOps, SecOps concepts
- Basic understanding of system availability and systems thinking
- Passion for building scalable, secure, and modern applications
