Role Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you'll be part of a team that builds and runs fault-tolerant, distributed systems. You'll blend software engineering and systems engineering to deliver solutions that meet internal and external reliability and performance needs, while following DevSecOps best practices.


What You’ll Do

  • Build and run large-scale, distributed systems with high uptime and resilience.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure scalable and cost-effective solutions.
  • Resolve cloud trouble tickets and build automation scripts for issue remediation.
  • Establish comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident management systems.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools (e.g., Terraform) to maintain infrastructure.
  • Participate in 24/7 support rotations and incident management.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
  • 1+ years: Software development/administration in public cloud.
  • 2+ years: Monitoring system/app uptime and performance.
  • 2+ years: Programming (Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript, Node.js).
  • 2+ years: Cross-functional IT knowledge (networking, storage, security, databases).
  • 2+ years: Automation with tools like Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • 2+ years: CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
