Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Operations at Copado

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud Operations) to manage and optimize our multi-cloud environment. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals experienced in AWS and GCP cloud management, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud security compliance. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and efficiency of our backend systems and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the health and operational stability of cloud resources across AWS and GCP environments.
• Automate operational tasks and maintenance jobs using Bash and Python scripting.
• Manage and troubleshoot containers (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, EKS) in production environments.
• Implement and update infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation templates.
• Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and optimize dashboards in CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures in GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during incidents to resolve blockers efficiently.
• Execute security policies and assist in audits to maintain compliance and cloud security standards.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in AWS and GCP core services: Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Python.
• Experience managing Docker and Kubernetes clusters in production (GKE/EKS).
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and alerting tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment troubleshooting.
