Job Description:

ChargePoint is looking for an Associate Technical Support Engineer to provide expert support and resolution to technical and network issues for our end-users. As part of the team, you will diagnose and engineer solutions for a wide range of use cases, including adjusting network configurations, verifying software setups, and working with field technicians to troubleshoot physical installation issues.

You will also collaborate with product and engineering teams to handle complex customer issues, create test plans, and improve product supportability.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues for customers
  • Provide clear, user-friendly technical solutions to end-users
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and network issues
  • Create test plans, test cases, and documentation
  • Provide ongoing feedback to improve product support and serviceability
  • Handle escalated issues and contribute to long-term solutions
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, M2M communications)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and application support
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Knowledge of Jira or other bug management tools
  • Experience in hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical assistance
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, or networking are a plus
  • Proficiency in English communication
