Role Overview
As an Associate Technical Support Engineer, you’ll troubleshoot hardware/software issues, configure networks, and work closely with product, field, and engineering teams. Your goal will be to resolve complex customer problems and enhance EV charging support systems.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical, software, and network issues
  • Assist field technicians with installation and hardware troubleshooting
  • Adjust network configurations and verify system integrity
  • Pull and analyze station/network logs for issue resolution
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on major customer issues
  • Document resolutions and contribute to internal knowledge base
  • Drive customer satisfaction through clear and concise communication

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BCA, B.Sc, MCA, M.Sc) or equivalent in a technical field
  • Strong written and spoken English communication
  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, M2M communications)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and support tools
  • Hands-on knowledge of Windows, Linux, and mobile OS platforms
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Familiar with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
  • Ability to write technical support documentation and knowledge articles
  • Proactive, customer-focused, and able to work independently

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, or networking
  • Exposure to supporting international customers in a voice process
  • Ability to interpret site drawings, specs, and technical diagrams
  • Familiarity with supportability testing and incident management
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and troubleshooting integrations
