Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud & PaaS Expertise:
  • Develop a firm understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and PaaS deployment options within an enterprise context.
  • Utilize cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Jenkins to streamline and optimize our infrastructure.
• Infrastructure Automation:
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code with tools like CloudFormation to automate and manage cloud resources.
• Real-Time Data & Kafka:
  • Demonstrate expertise in Kafka and real-time data streaming technologies for event-driven applications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Lead code reviews and promote a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Problem Solving & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring communication with stakeholders.
• Secure Coding & Quality Practices:
  • Adhere to secure coding practices, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and implementing best practices in software development.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Proven experience in DevOps environments with hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment automation tools.
  • Experience with real-time data technologies, particularly Kafka, Zookeeper, and Schema Registry.
• Skills:
  • Strong background in CI/CD, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes (preferably EKS).
  • Automation scripting skills with shell/bash.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a financial services or enterprise environment.
  • AWS Certification (preferably AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
