Join Barclays Technology in Pune as a DevOps Engineer and be part of a team that's redefining the future of Cloud Infrastructure, AWS Automation, and FinTech Innovation. In this role, you’ll revolutionize the bank's digital landscape by leveraging cutting-edge technologies like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation tools to ensure high performance and reliability across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and OpenShift
- Automate deployments and manage releases to production/non-production environments
- Implement DevOps best practices across CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Chef, Ansible
- Monitor infrastructure performance with tools like Splunk, AppDynamics
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical infrastructure issues
- Maintain high standards of infrastructure security and compliance
- Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of infrastructure cost and performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in AWS (EC2, RDS, ECS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Route 53)
- Experience in Linux/Windows administration, scripting (Python, Bash, Shell), and DevOps tools
- Deep understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools: Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub, Nexus
- Automation and orchestration using CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools: Splunk, AppDynamics, Kibana
- Experience with Kafka, API Gateway, DynamoDB, MQ, NFS, and Load Balancers
- AWS certifications are a plus
Preferred Experience
- Development in Python, Java, Spring Boot
- Working knowledge of frameworks: Flask, Bottle
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, cost optimization in cloud, and compliance practices
- Hands-on experience in cloud security, including KMS, Secret Manager, and Advanced Shield
