Responsibilities:
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve problems.
- Participate in developing and deploying preventative maintenance procedures.
- Contribute to Disaster Recovery Testing.
- Ensure documentation and reporting meet agreed quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to maintain quality during development and implementation.
- Contribute to continuous service improvement and maintain knowledge repositories.
- Handle incident management and preventive solutions.
- Engage with Business Unit CIO and infrastructure teams for strategic discussions.
- Innovate with new technologies and solutions, fostering a culture of experimentation.
- Tune and configure systems for optimal performance.
- Hands-on experience with coding (e.g., JSON, Java, HTML5, JavaScript, Unix Shell Script).
- Administrative experience with application servers and performance monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus).
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Operations processes and cloud systems (AWS, OpenShift, Azure).
- Understanding of containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with distributed systems, relational/no-SQL databases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of Agile practices.
- Experience with Cybersecurity, especially in authentication.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies and Infrastructure management.
