Job Description:
Seeking a motivated Software Engineer proficient in MUMPS, IRIS (Intersystem) Cache, or related technologies to design, develop, and maintain high-performance healthcare software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet business and technical goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using MUMPS and IRIS Cache technologies
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code adhering to best practices
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle including debugging and resolving issues
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Provide development support for client-reported issues
- Continuously learn new technologies and improve technical skills
Required Skills:
- 2-4 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in MUMPS, IRIS (Intersystem) Cache, or similar
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving
- Familiarity with SQL and database technologies
- Experience with software testing methodologies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs)
- Agile development knowledge (Scrum/Kanban)
- Healthcare domain expertise
