Key Responsibilities:

Windows Server Administration:

• Manage Windows Server (2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022) setup and maintenance
• Configure DNS, DHCP, File, and Print Services
• Perform patching, upgrades, and backups
• Monitor server health and troubleshoot issues
• Implement disaster recovery solutions

Active Directory Management:

• Handle forests, domains, trusts, and GPOs
• Secure AD environment via policy and auditing
• Administer user/group accounts and permissions
• Plan AD upgrades, restructuring, and Azure AD integration

Security & Compliance:

• Implement RBAC, audit configurations, and resolve security vulnerabilities
• Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain up-to-date configuration and process documents
• Create reports on server performance and incidents

Collaboration:

• Contribute to IT infrastructure projects
• Train and assist junior admins
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams

Required Skills:

• 1–2 years experience in Windows Server Administration
• Strong skills in Active Directory & PowerShell scripting
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, MFA, PKI, etc.
• Familiarity with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware)
• Experience in hybrid AD, Azure, AWS environments

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications like Azure Administrator, MCSA/MCSE
• Knowledge of ITIL, SCCM, SCOM, CI/CD tools
• Experience with backup tools (Veeam, Commvault)
