Job Summary

Zoho is hiring Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) to work on cloud infrastructure, automation, reliability operations, scalable systems, and enterprise-level performance engineering. This role focuses on improving cloud environments, reducing manual operations through automation, and supporting global production systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

Automation Engineering

• Develop and manage automation tools to eliminate manual tasks.
• Enhance deployment pipelines for large-scale distributed systems.
• Improve operational efficiency using scripting and cloud automation frameworks.

Cloud Infrastructure & System Management

• Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure across data centers.
• Monitor application performance and forecast capacity for high-availability systems.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and infrastructure performance.

CI/CD and Build Deployment

• Support build deployment using in-house CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain service uptime and ensure zero-downtime deployments.

Performance, Monitoring & Observability

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Detect production issues proactively using metrics and performance indicators.
• Analyze system behavior and prevent failures.

Security & Compliance

• Follow cloud security standards, IAM policies, and compliance guidelines.
• Ensure secure access control and environment hardening.

Incident & Outage Management

• Handle system alerts and participate in root-cause analysis.
• Implement preventive measures to avoid future production issues.

Eligibility & Requirements

Experience

• 0–2 years in Cloud Automation, SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.

Scripting & Programming

• Hands-on experience with Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Knowledge of C / C++ / Java / Python.

Cloud & Networking

• Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, virtualization, and security concepts.
• Familiarity with tools like netstat, ping, traceroute, nc, ssh/scp, tcpdump, Wireshark.

CI/CD

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

SRE Concepts

• Awareness of SLI, SLO, SLA and reliability engineering practices.

Shift Requirement

• Willing to work in rotational shifts for 24x7 operations.

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and microservices orchestration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
