Wipro, India's fourth-largest IT services company, has announced its hiring plans for fresh graduates in the next financial year (FY26). The company expects to hire between 10,000 and 12,000 freshers during the year. This announcement was made after the company released its financial results for the October-December quarter of FY25 on January 17, 2025.
Wipro’s headcount decreased by 1,157 employees in the December quarter, reversing the trend of adding employees in the previous two quarters. However, the company confirmed that all past job offers have been honored, and there are no pending offers left.
For the current fiscal year, Wipro plans to hire just under 10,000 fresh graduates. Moving forward, the company intends to onboard 2,500-3,000 freshers each quarter, which adds up to 10,000-12,000 hires annually. The company’s HR head emphasized that Wipro aims to maintain a balanced approach and will not make offers it cannot fulfill.
