About the Role

As a Manual Test Engineer Trainee at Wipro, you’ll be responsible for configuring and testing the Wipro Proprietary Total Benefit Administration System. You’ll use proprietary tools and systems to configure tables and parameters that meet specific client requirements. This role provides an opportunity to work on enterprise systems and understand large-scale software configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and test Wipro’s proprietary Total Benefit Administration System.
• Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and configurations.
• Support team members in analyzing, debugging, and resolving software issues.
• Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Document testing processes and configuration details for future reference.

Technical Skills Required

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with SAS and Mainframe concepts.
• Ability to write simple to intermediate SQL queries (knowledge of DB2 is a plus).
• Understanding of system testing and software QA methodologies.
• Awareness of automation testing principles is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills — ability to break down complex problems.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduates from B.E / B.Tech / MCA (2024 or 2025 Batch).
• Comfortable working from Chennai.
• Willing to serve a 12-month service agreement.
• Flexible to work in night shifts (5:30 PM – 3:00 AM).
• Must have received or be in the process of receiving Provisional or Degree Certificate.
• Fully or partially COVID-19 vaccinated candidates preferred.
