About the Role:

Wells Fargo is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join their Hyderabad-based team. As part of the Technology & Data division, you'll contribute to critical application development initiatives, drive service improvements, and help modernize legacy platforms using the latest in Java, Spring, Microservices, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, debug, and document software for low to moderately complex projects.
• Participate in installation, upgrades, deployments, and application support.
• Analyze and recommend improvements in service quality and system availability.
• Troubleshoot and escalate technical challenges related to medium-risk deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance, security, and SLAs.
• Contribute to Agile team environments and product delivery models.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid experience in Java / J2EE application development.
• Deep understanding of Spring Framework (Core, MVC, AOP, Boot, Batch).
• Experience with RESTful / SOAP Web Services, JAX-WS, Axis.
• Hands-on with Microservices, Cloud-native architecture, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong skills in SQL, Oracle DB, and familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Proficient in JUnit, SonarQube, JMeter, SOAPUI, Kafka, and DevOps practices.
• Familiar with AppDynamics, Splunk, and modern development practices like BDD, TDD, Cucumber.
• Exposure to Cloud platforms like PCF, OpenShift.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in Agile environments and virtual teams.
• Experience transitioning from legacy to modern frameworks.
• Sound understanding of risk management and compliance protocols.
