What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the Network Repair Bureau (NRB), you will be responsible for centralized troubleshooting of customer issues and the operation and management of the Verizon Wireless Network. This role ensures high network availability and service level attainment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network events.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting network issues to ensure network health.
  • Partnering with senior engineers to provide timely and accurate technical assistance.
  • Providing on-demand support to eliminate unexpected service impacts to customers.
  • Utilizing network management systems to detect and document network events.

Where You’ll Be Working

This is a hybrid role with a defined work location that includes work-from-home and assigned office days as set by the manager.


What We’re Looking For

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years of related work experience.
  • Ability to work from 6 AM - 3 PM local time, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
  • Experience working in a customer service setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Gmail.

Even Better If You Have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of LTE networks and 4G to 5G technologies.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and/or telecommunications.
  • Knowledge of Cloud and Virtualized solutions (OpenStack/VMWare).
  • Network certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or similar).
  • Scripting experience with Python, Node.js, Perl, or equivalent languages.
  • Experience in computer support, including troubleshooting PC hardware and configurations.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, dynamic environment and adjust to priority changes.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Scheduled Weekly Hours

40 hours per week.
