Role Overview

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to support banking domain applications, focusing on client onboarding platforms, cloud infrastructure, and automation pipelines. This role involves hands-on coding, CI/CD management, infrastructure optimization, and DevOps process improvement, with exposure to banking operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

• Align DevOps initiatives with the bank’s client-centric strategy
• Mentor team members and ensure timely training
• Improve code quality, drive code reviews, and reduce technical debt
• Identify, gather, and document interface requirements
• Provide inputs to improve automation and delivery efficiency
• Collaborate with global teams for idea sharing and innovation
• Model Agile behaviors and user-first mindset

Business & Processes

• Support client onboarding and banking domain platforms
• Adhere to bank’s process and policy standards

People & Talent

• Strong Java / J2EE full-stack development skills
• Design and implement solutions following organizational standards
• Create analysis and design documents; support test case creation
• Resolve technical queries for development teams
• Assist PMs in estimates and scheduling
• Participate in SIT, UAT, and implementation
• Experience with test harness development in J2SE
• Work with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins / Hudson)
• Version control experience (Git, CVS, Subversion)
• SQL / PL-SQL scripting
• Shell scripting and Unix commands

Risk Management

• Experience in risk mitigation and management processes

Regulatory & Business Conduct

• Demonstrate exemplary conduct, ethics, and regulatory compliance
• Lead SCI Development team to achieve client outcome objectives
• Escalate and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance issues
• Follow local regulator prescribed responsibilities
