Job Summary

Standard Chartered Bank is hiring a DevOps Engineer to strengthen its global technology operations. In this role, you will manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and security in a regulated banking environment.

This opportunity offers exposure to global banking technology, with strong focus on Cloud Computing, DevOps, Site Reliability, and Infrastructure as Code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure DevOps infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability & disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with teams to align delivery with banking compliance and security standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control, and DevOps toolchains.
• Prepare technical documentation, training materials, and onboarding guides.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps, CloudOps, and SecOps tools.

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of DevOps, SecOps, CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Helm, or similar tools.
• Programming knowledge in Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Strong skills in Unix/Linux, Bash, PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident management.
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in Infrastructure Engineering / Cloud Operations.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Security & Risk Management frameworks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global banking environment.
