Job Description:

S&P Global is looking for an Apprentice, Software Development to join their dynamic team. This internship role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the syndicated loan industry, focusing on building and supporting cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain experience with industry-standard technologies and tools.
• Learn about the syndicated loan industry and financial data management.
• Participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprint goals.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of new features for the loan servicing platform.
• Collaborate with the development team to maintain high-quality code.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, VB.Net, Java, or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with code documentation and design principles.
• Basic knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
