About the Role

OSTTRA, a joint venture of S&P Global and CME Group, is hiring an Associate I Software Engineer to work on high-performance financial technology applications. This role involves working on microservices, cloud-based architectures, and Java development to streamline post-trade processes in global capital markets.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain high-performance, resilient platforms for financial trade processing.
• Take ownership of development tasks and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Apply best practices in software design, testing, and development.
• Work with Business Analysts and QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve bugs efficiently.
• Decompose development tasks, provide estimates, and collaborate with teams globally.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 2-5 years in Java development.
• Tech Stack:
  • Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices
  • Multi-threading, Test-Driven Development
  • Understanding of performance optimization and writing maintainable code

Preferred Skills

• Databases: Oracle, MongoDB
• Cloud & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Git CI/CD
• Messaging & APIs: JMS (ActiveMQ), RESTful APIs, Apache Camel
