As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will work across systems architecture, network systems, and application infrastructure to ensure effective delivery of results, supporting Pfizer’s mission to make a global impact on patient care.

What You Will Achieve

• Operate with the highest integrity, protecting confidential information and mitigating risks.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement proactive, cloud-native solutions and scalable network infrastructure.
• Use Terraform and Python to automate and manage cloud resources across AWS and GCP.
• Partner with customers and Support teams to troubleshoot cloud service issues efficiently.
• Qualify new AWS services and develop comprehensive implementation workbooks.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to streamline deployment and management processes.
• Continuously review AWS infrastructure to ensure best practices and security compliance.
• Research and evaluate new AWS solutions to enhance current systems and support future growth.
• Monitor system performance and availability, implementing proactive measures for reliability.
• Engage with business customers to understand needs and guide solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and software development.
• Strong knowledge of public and private cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Proficiency in Terraform and Python.
• Understanding and application of DevOps principles.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in AWS or GCP (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and application security.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and security standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
