Role Overview
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you'll work within the Infrastructure and Operations Team, reporting to the Director of Infrastructure and Operations. You will gain hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and deployment support.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Support

• Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts
• Learn and use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
• Monitor system performance and health
• Support routine maintenance and updates
• Work with Azure DevOps for builds and releases

Cloud Operations

• Assist with managing Azure cloud resources
• Learn and apply cloud cost optimization strategies
• Help implement security and compliance configurations
• Maintain technical documentation

Deployment & Troubleshooting

• Support production deployments
• Learn to troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues
• Shadow senior engineers during incident response
• Help maintain deployment playbooks

Learning & Team Collaboration

• Attend team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Document processes and learnings
• Work collaboratively on DevOps and infrastructure projects

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 0–1 year of experience or relevant internships
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
• Familiar with Git or Azure DevOps (ADO)

Skills

• Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
• Strong interest in DevOps tools and cloud engineering
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team

Preferred

• Internship experience in IT or software development
• Azure Fundamentals or related certification
• Experience with Linux
• Understanding of containerization and networking concepts
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
