📝 Job Overview

Reporting To: Director of Infrastructure and Operations
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you’ll work within Nimble's Infrastructure and Operations Team, collaborating closely with experienced engineers. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn and contribute to cloud infrastructure operations, modern DevOps practices, and automation for mission-critical systems.

🗂️ Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Support

• Maintain deployment pipelines and automation scripts.
• Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform.
• Monitor system health and performance.
• Support routine maintenance and updates.
• Manage build pipelines, release definitions, and work items in Azure DevOps.

Cloud Operations

• Support Azure cloud resource management.
• Learn cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Assist in implementing security configurations.
• Help maintain system documentation.

Deployment Assistance

• Support production deployments under supervision.
• Learn troubleshooting methodologies for common issues.
• Shadow senior engineers during incident response.
• Assist in maintaining deployment procedures.

Learning & Collaboration

• Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Document technical procedures and learnings.
• Collaborate with team members on projects.
• Build understanding of DevOps best practices.

🎓 Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0-1 year experience or relevant internships.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/ADO).

• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Understanding of basic DevOps concepts.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies.

• Internship experience in IT or development.
