Job Overview
As a Systems Administrator in the Cloud Operations team at NICE Actimize, you’ll manage AWS-hosted SaaS applications and high-availability MS SQL Server databases. You’ll support the infrastructure, monitor systems, and ensure service level adherence by assisting customer connectivity and resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor AWS Cloud SaaS infrastructure
- Support high-availability MS SQL Server databases
- Troubleshoot and support batch jobs, ETL processes
- Automate using Shell, PowerShell
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – CloudFormation, Terraform
- Monitor systems and configure alerts (e.g., Nagios)
- Manage server installation/patching on Windows & Linux
- Work with containers in ECS, EKS
- Troubleshoot web traffic with Postman/Fiddler
- Provide production and development support
Required Skills
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong in MS SQL Server (high availability)
- Scripting: Shell, PowerShell
- ETL jobs and monitoring tools
- Familiar with Jenkins, Octopus, Ansible
- Cloud-native support (AWS ECS/EKS)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshooting using Postman, Fiddler
Preferred Skills
- Jenkins & Octopus experience
- Knowledge of Ansible, CloudFormation, DSM
- Strong grasp of DevOps and containerized environments
