Job Description
NiCE is hiring a DevOps Engineer to contribute to the design, production, and testing of scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems. This role requires strong experience in CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring tools.
You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle, enhance deployment processes, and improve infrastructure reliability using modern DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools
- Monitor system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
- Collaborate with developers to streamline builds, releases, and deployments
- Ensure high system availability, scalability, and security across environments
- Troubleshoot issues in cloud-based production environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Required Skills
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps practices
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, shell scripting, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with version control (Git) and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, cloud computing
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer, Docker/Kubernetes Admin, Azure DevOps
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Understanding of secure coding and deployment practices
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or relevant discipline
