About the Role

Miamin Systems is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer with 0-3 years of experience to join our engineering and cloud operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational knowledge in Linux systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD automation, containerization, and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for development and production environments.
• Automate configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Deploy, monitor, and support applications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Manage and optimize containerization environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Support version control, build processes, and automated test workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and cloud monitoring tools.
• Assist in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
• Hands-on experience (internship or projects) with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Containerization expertise: Docker (mandatory), Kubernetes (preferred).
• Familiarity with scripting languages: Python, Bash, Shell.
• Understanding of networking concepts: DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPN.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
