ROLE OVERVIEW
Miamin Systems is looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with strong fundamentals in Linux, Cloud, CI/CD, and Automation. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who want hands-on exposure to real-world cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and reliability engineering while working closely with development and QA teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CI/CD & AUTOMATION

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Support configuration management and automation using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Improve build, deployment, and test automation workflows

CLOUD & CONTAINERS

• Deploy, monitor, and support applications on AWS / Azure / GCP
• Maintain and improve Docker and Kubernetes environments
• Support microservices-based deployments

OPERATIONS & MONITORING

• Monitor system health using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and environment issues
• Optimize system performance and availability

COLLABORATION

• Work closely with Developers, QA, and Operations teams
• Improve deployment efficiency, reliability, and scalability

REQUIRED SKILLS

SYSTEMS & OS

• Strong understanding of Linux / Unix environments

CI/CD & VERSION CONTROL

• Hands-on experience (internship/projects) with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
• Solid knowledge of Git and branching workflows

CLOUD & CONTAINERS

• Basic knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP
• Docker (mandatory) and Kubernetes (preferred)

SCRIPTING & NETWORKING

• Scripting using Python, Bash, or Shell
• Understanding of DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPNs

PREFERRED SKILLS

INFRASTRUCTURE AS CODE

• Exposure to Terraform or CloudFormation

OBSERVABILITY & ARCHITECTURE

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• AWS / Azure / DevOps certifications (optional, added advantage)
