What You Will Do

As a Network Operations Engineer, you will monitor Johnson Controls’ global network infrastructure and provide 1st/2nd line support. You’ll manage incident and service request tickets, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure timely escalation and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Network Monitoring: Proactively respond to alerts to prevent or minimize service outages.
• Incident Management: Investigate and identify root causes to restore operations quickly.
• Service Requests: Handle low-level service-related tasks.
• Documentation: Maintain logs, incident reports, and shift handovers for knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a NOC or network operations role
• Strong understanding of networking: LAN, WAN, WLAN, protocols
• Familiarity with routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP)
• Knowledge of Firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto) is a plus
• Awareness of Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
• CCNA certification or equivalent preferred
• Experience with ITIL-based environments is desirable
