Job Summary

Invesco is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer I to join their Global Information Security team. You’ll provide technical expertise in maintaining and supporting Invesco’s Cloud SaaS applications and information security. This role involves identifying and resolving issues, improving system security, and supporting security policies and standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures for SaaS applications.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats in the cloud environment.
• Define technical security requirements for cloud workloads integrated with IAM, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, SIEM systems, and more.
• Research and design cloud security solutions aligned with NIST and Cloud Security Alliance guidance.
• Develop and deploy infrastructure-as-code scripts to optimize cloud security controls.
• Support cloud projects and hands-on implementation of security technologies.
• Manage security patches, upgrades, and enhancements for cloud environments.
• Investigate and report on global cloud security issues and emerging trends.
• Optimize automation solutions for performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 0-2 years of experience in information security, cloud security, or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and microservices security.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud deployment orchestration, automation, and security management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and JSON.
• Knowledge of industry compliance frameworks (NIST, GDPR, SOX, ISO, PCI-DSS).
• Familiarity with security tools like Prisma Cloud, Wiz, McAfee CASB, SIEM (Splunk/Qradar), IAM, and Palo Alto.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team.

Education

• B.Tech in Computer Science or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
