Job Overview

The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) program at Invesco is designed to provide exposure to cutting-edge technologies and business processes. Trainees will undergo classroom training, practical rotations, and real-world project assignments across multiple domains including ServiceNow development, intelligent automation, monitoring, and cloud operations.

This is a 12-month structured program, after which trainees will be allocated to relevant teams based on performance, business needs, and career interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete mandatory classroom training and solve business problems through case studies.
• Participate in two rotations within the Technology organization during the program.
• Learn end-to-end business processes, including product, investment, sales, operations, and corporate services.
• Gain exposure to ServiceNow development:
  • Build scalable workflows using ServiceNow.
  • Hands-on experience with CMDB, workflow automation, reports, and dashboards.
• Work on Intelligent Automation:
  • Create bots, scripts, and automated solutions using Power Automate, AWX, Python, Selenium, and Agentic AI.
• Develop monitoring solutions:
  • Use Splunk Cloud, Observability tools, and SolarWinds to monitor system performance, detect anomalies, and ensure high availability.
• Participate in Cloud Development & Operations:
  • Work on cloud-native applications across Azure and AWS.
  • Contribute to scalable and resilient cloud solutions.
• Support team goals and complete individual deliverables.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to employee-led Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and Invesco Connects initiatives.
• Maintain regular check-ins with Rotation Manager and Program Lead.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in B.Tech/M.Tech (all branches).
• No current academic backlogs.
• Minimum 60% CGPA or equivalent across 10th, 12th, and graduation.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). Certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic SQL and Excel skills.
