Role Overview
As a Cloud Security Engineer I, you will be part of Invesco’s Global Information Security team, ensuring the protection of information assets and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. You’ll design and implement cloud security solutions, enforce technical standards, and address regulatory compliance issues.

Your Responsibilities

• Configure technologies for cloud and on-premises environments following industry best practices.
• Support cloud projects and implement security technologies with a focus on cloud security.
• Define technical requirements for data protection and secure inter-component communication.
• Enhance compliance with NIST Framework and Cloud Security Alliance guidance.
• Manage security engineering activities like patches, upgrades, and improvements.
• Provide metrics and periodic updates on assigned projects.
• Evaluate and implement security solutions to meet business needs.
• Research and support cloud security products and document security issues and trends.

Your Profile

• 4+ years of IT Security experience, with exposure to infrastructure security.
• Expertise in threat modeling, cloud data protection, SIEM systems, IAM, key management solutions, and workload protection.
• Experience deploying security solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with configuration scans and security methodologies.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, JSON, and application security.
• Solid understanding of Cloud IAM, Active Directory, ADFS, SSO, and GPO implementation.
• Familiarity with industry compliance standards like PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, ISO, ITIL, and SOC1/2.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, SABSA, TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
