Job Overview
The Systems Engineer I role is responsible for daily operational support, design, construction, testing, implementation, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure systems. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve Level 1 Linux infrastructure issues in production environments.
• Utilize advanced monitoring, reporting, and infrastructure management tools to analyze and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Act as a liaison between customers, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams to ensure rapid issue resolution.
• Perform analysis of complex network system integrations to enhance infrastructure performance.
• Design, construct, test, implement, and optimize network and IT infrastructure solutions.
• Engineer system administration solutions for operational needs and minor infrastructure projects.
• Maintain enterprise system standards, compliance policies, and operational workflows.
• Research and recommend automation strategies to improve system administration efficiency.
• Provide rotational on-call support to maintain high system uptime for global services.
• Perform Linux patch management using automation tools such as Ansible Tower and Spacewalk.
• Deliver production support and assist project teams requiring Linux expertise.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and process workflows.

About the Team
The Linux Infrastructure team consists of specialized engineers responsible for security patching, vulnerability remediation, infrastructure monitoring, and operational support. The team collaborates with Data Center, Storage, Virtualization, Database, and Application teams to manage enterprise environments and ensure secure, scalable, and highly available systems.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with system monitoring, reporting, performance optimization, and infrastructure management tools.
• Passion for technology with the ability to stay updated on emerging cloud and infrastructure trends.
• Familiarity with automation tools is preferred.
• Ability to design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
